Arrival by train
The Hotel Alpina is just a few minutes' walk from Lucerne railroad station.
If you leave it at the front, go to the far left as far as the road crossing to the Hotel Monopol. From November to April, check in at the Hotel Monopol.
From May to October, go left around the Hotel Monopol and turn right at the corner of the McDonalds. After about 100 meters you have reached the Hotel Alpina on the right-hand side.
1. hotel's own parking lot:From November to April 2026 there are no parking spaces available in the inner courtyard.
A limited number of parking spaces are available in the hotel courtyard at a price of CHF 35.00 per night. The entrance is located at Frankenstrasse 2 - 4, between Hotel MONOPOL and Hotel ALPINA. Please ask for a parking space when you make your room reservation, as parking spaces are very limited.
2nd station parking:Directly in front of the Hotel MONOPOL Lucerne is the large train station parking lot P1 (Bahnhofplatz 1, Lucerne). Attention: Car access via Zentralstrasse, Lucerne, direction Bahnhofplatz 1, Lucerne.
3. parking in the public area of the city of Lucerne:A very inexpensive parking option is available on all parking spaces marked WHITE in the public area of the city of Lucerne. The hotel guest parking card costs CHF 25.00 and is valid for 24 hours. It can be purchased at the reception desk at check-in. However, with this inexpensive option, you must look for a white parking space in the surrounding area yourself. There is no guarantee of a parking space.
